Day 5 Interlaken-Zermatt
Rail journey through the wonderful Bernese Oberland to the Valais, either via the Lotschberg base tunnel directly to Visp and further to Zermatt. Or by the Lotschberger, the new air conditioned train with big windows using the traditional scenic Lotschberg line to Brig and continue your journey to Zermatt, the famous resort at the foot of the Matterhorn. Day 6 Zermatt-Gornergrat-Zermatt
After breakfast enjoy the popular Gornergrat Bahn, Europe’s highest open-air cogwheel railway, takes you up to the Gornergrat 9.339 km away. On the Gornergrat viewing platform you are surrounded by 29 peaks rising to above 4000 m. Overnight in Zermatt.

Day 7 Zermatt-Glacier Express-St. Moritz
Board the Glacier Express and enjoy one of the greatest rail journeys in the world. A 7 hour rail journey takes you across 291 bridges, through 91 tunnels and across the Oberalp Pass at 2033 m to St. Moritz. Lunch included on the train. Overnight in St. Moritz.

Day 8 St. Moritz-End of Tour

Day 2 Interlaken
Today you will enjoy an excursion from Interlaken up to the Jungfraujoch known as the Top of Europe. The train takes you up to the Kleine Scheidegg, at the foot of the famous Eiger North Wall. Continue by the Jungfrau Railway to the Jungfraujoch at 11,333 ft. it is the highest railway station in Europe. Experience breathtaking views of the Aletsch Glaicer, the longest glacier in the Alps. Day 3 Interlaken-Lucerne

Day 4 Lucerne
After breakfast excursion to Mount Titlis, at a height of 10,000 ft. From Lucerne the train takes you to the mountain monastery village of Engelberg where you board a gondola which takes you up to the Trobsee. You continue your trip by another gondola to Stand and finally the first revolving Titlis Rotair cable car takes you up to Mount Titlis. For a spectacular, close-up insight into a glacier, visit the glacier cave and ride the Ice Flyer chairlift. Take the postal bus to Col du Pillon (Glacier 3000) where you board the panoramic cable car which takes you to the eternal snow at 3000 meters injust 15 minutes. Travel either via the Lotschberg base tunnel directly to Visp and further to Zermatt. Or by the Regio Express Lotschberger, the train with big windows using the Lotschberg mountain route, passing the imposing Kander Viaduct, the helical tunnel around the Felsenburg and the descent to Brig with the imposing view onto the Rhone Valley and continue your journey to Zermatt located at the foot of the Matterhorn, is the perfect Alpine resort. Today you take the train from Lugano to Locarno from where the Centovalli Railway takes you to Domodossola in Italy. There you board the train to Brig Switzerland and further to Lausanne. The picturesque city of Lausanne is the second-largest city on Lake Geneva. Since 1914 it has been the headquarters of the International Olympic Committee. Overnight in Lausanne.

Day 6 Lausanne
Get the French touch in the land of savoir faire and belle vie. Enjoy the wine of an incredible place, the Lavaux region, landscape of terraced vineyards and World Heritage Sites. We suggest a visit of the Olympic Museum. Overnight in Lausanne.

Day 5 Interlaken/Grindelwald-Montreux
This morning self transfer to the rail station where you board the Golden Pass Panoramic BLS Train which features the special Salon Bleu carriages. The train takes you from Interlaken through the rural Simmental region, renowned for prosperous farms and typicall Swiss cows to Zweisimmen. From there the journey continues with the Golden Pass Panoramic MOB train to Montreux. Do not miss the grandiose views of Lake Geneva and its terraced vineyards. Overnight in Montreux.

Day 6 Montreux-Chocolate Train-Montreux
Today you will enjoy a sweet day. In Montreux board the famous Chocolate Train with its nostalgic Belle Epoque or Panoramic carriages. On the journey coffee and a croissant will be served. In Gruyeres you will visit a cheese factory. Afterwords a bus will take you to the village center where you will have time to visit the village and its castle. The bus will take you back to the station where you board the train again and head for Broc. The Nestle/Cailler Chocolate factory awaits you and you will see a film about chocolate making. After the film you will enjoy a factory tour and tasting. Late afternoon return to Montreux. Overnight in Montreux.
