Day 1 Lucerne

Day 5 Interlaken-Zermatt
Rail journey through the wonderful Bernese Oberland to the Valais, either via the Lotschberg base tunnel directly to Visp and further to Zermatt. Or by the Lotschberger, the new air conditioned train with big windows using the traditional scenic Lotschberg line to Brig and continue your journey to Zermatt, the famous resort at the foot of the Matterhorn. Day 6 Zermatt-Gornergrat-Zermatt

Day 7 Zermatt-Glacier Express-St. Moritz

In Gruyeres you will visit a cheese factory. Afterwords a bus will take you to the village center where you will have time to visit the village and its castle. The bus will take you back to the station where you board the train again and head for Broc. The Nestle/Cailler Chocolate factory awaits you and you will see a film about chocolate making. After the film you will enjoy a factory tour and tasting. Late afternoon return to Montreux. Overnight in Montreux.

Day 7 Montreux-End of Tour
After breakfast return to the Swiss border or the airport. You may extend you stay in any part of this beautiful Alpine country or continue to Austria or Germany.
