Day 1 Copenhagen
Self transfer to your centrally located hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure to begin your exploration of the Danish capital. We suggest a stroll along the main shopping street “Stroget” and a visit to Tivoli Gardens (entrance is included). Overnight Hotel Copenhagen Island or similar.
Day 2 Copenhagen-Aarhus
After breakfast self transfer to the rail station for your ride to Aarhus. Upon arrival to Denmark’s second largest city self transfer to your hotel. Remainder of the day is at leisure. We suggest visits to the Cathedral, City Hall and the prehistoric museum Moesgaard (entrance fee to the museum is included). Overnight Hotel Plaza
Day 3 Aarhus
After breakfast a visit to Den Gamle By “Old Town” is a must. This open air museum with its beautiful old merchant buildings, shows how a Danish city looked 200-300 years ago (entrance fee to the museum is included). Afternoon at leisure to shop or relax in one of the city’s many cafes. It is possible to take an optional excursion to Legoland today. Overnight Hotel Plaza
Day 4 Aarhus-Odense
After breakfast self transfer to the rail station for your scenic train ride to Odense. You will enjoy the ride southward through Jutland and across the “Little Baelt” to the island of Funen and the city of Odense, home of Hans Christian Andersen. Self transfer to your hotel. This afternoon we recommend a visit to the Hans Christian Andersen Museum (entrance fee to the museum is included). Overnight First Hotel Grand.
Day 5 Odense
After breakfast full day at leisure in lovely Odense. Please ask for optional excursions such as to Legoland. Overnight First Grand Hotel.
Day 6 Odense-Copenhagen
Breakfast at the hotel before you take a last look around Odense. Self transfer to the rail station for your ride to Copenhagen through the quaint Zealand countryside. Upon arrival self transfer to your hotel. Hotel Copenhagen Island.
Day 7 Copenhagen-End of Tour
Tour ends after breakfast. You can extend your stay in lovely Copenhagen or continue to Sweden, Norway or Germany.
