Itinerary

Day 1 Punta Arenas-Puerto Natales
Upon arrival at the Presidente Ibanez airport in Punta Arenas you will be met and taken to the bus station for your 3 hour ride to Puerto Natales. Upon arrival you will be met and taken to the Hotel Costa Australis. City view.

Day 2 Puerto Natales-Serrano & Balmaceda Glaciers Cruise-Puerto Natales
After breakfast you will board the boat at 8am for your full day excursion to the Serrano and Balmaceda glaciers. At around 4.30pm return the the wharf at Puerto Natales. Overnight Hotel Costa Australis.

Day 3 Puerto Natales-Torres del Paine National Park-Puerto Natales
After breakfast you will enjoy a full day excursion to the Torres del Paine National Park. The park is located among the mountain range of the Andes and the Patagonian steppe. The park preserves fragile ecosystems where about 25 species of mammals live including pumas, foxes, nandues (South American Ostrich) condors and guanacos. Also worth visiting is the Pehoe and Grey Lake with its large glacier. In the evening return to the hotel. Overnight Hotel Costa Australis.

Day 4 Puerto Natales-Punta Arenas
After breakfast you will be taken to the bus station for your return ride to Punta Arenas. Upon arrival you will be taken to the Hotel Cabo de Hornos for overnight.

Day 5 Punta Arenas-End of Tour
After breakfast you will be taken on a tour of Punta Arenas. The city was the first permanent civilized human nucleus of the Austral Patagonia. The city began its life on December 18, 1848 as a small colony quickly transforming itself into the most important cultural, industrial, commercial and stock center of Patagonia. You will view the city and the Magellan’s Straits along with its well planned avenues and parks that shelter around 30 monuments. The tour ends with a visit to the interesting Salesian Maggiorino Borgatello Musuem, with its magnificent collection of Magellan flora and fauna, together with relics of the folklore and crafts of the Yaganes, Onas and Alacalufes Indians. After the tour you will be taken to the airport. You can extend your stay in Patagonia or take another tour of Chile or continue to Argentina.
