Itinerary

Day 1 Vilnius
Upon arrival you will be met and taken to your centrally located hotel. Remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight Hotel Artis Centrum or similar.

Day 2 Vilnius
Vilnius is known for its more than 1,200 medieval buildings and 48 churches. Your morning walking tour of the Old Town includes the Vilnius Cathedral, Gediminas Tower, St. Anne’s Church, Old University and the Gates of Dawn. The afternoon offers an excursion to Trakai, the medieval capital of Lithuania, with the well preserved Trakai Castle, beautifully located on an island in Lake Galve. In the evening enjoy dinner at the Restaurant Belmontas.Overnight Hotel Artis Centrum or similar.

Day 3 Vilnius-Riga
Heading for Riga, the first stop is the Hill of Crosses, one of the most holy sites of Catholic Lithuania. After crossing into Latvia reach the magnificent Rundale Palace, the former summer residence of the Duke of Courland. Following a guided tour of the palace travel through the rolling hills of Southern Latvia to reach Riga in the late afternoon, Overnight at the Hotel Radisson Blu Latvija or similar.

Day 4 Riga
Riga, founded in 1201 by the German bishop Albert, is the largest of the three Baltic capitals and boasts a real kaleidoscope of architectural styles and by the end of December the whole city is preparing for a vibrant New Year celebration. The walking tour of the Old Town includes the Riga Castle, the Dome Cathedral, St. Pete’s Church, the Swedish Gate, the Three Brothers, the Large and Small Guilds and the Freedom Monument. In the afternoon enjoy al tour of the Riga Art Nouveaux district and tour along the Riga Boulevard circle. The tour ends with a warm-up Riga black balsam drink at a central cafe. In the evening enjoy a New Year Gala.dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the Hotel Radisson Blu Latvija or similar.

Day 5 Riga
Today you will enjoy a guided shopping tour that will take you to interior decoration and design stores, art galleries and fashion boutiques in the Old Town with the main focus on local brands and artists. En route enjoy a warm cup of coffee with Latvian Christmas pastry in a cozy cafe. In the evening enjoy an excursion to the Lido Recreational Center, a large restaurant and entertainment center located in the largest blockhouse in Europe and surrounded by many winter attractions. Enjoy a traditional Latvian meal before going back to the hotel. Overnight at the Hotel Radisson Blu Latvija or similar.

Day 6 Riga-Tallinn
The tour continues along the coastal highway to the Estonian summer resort of Parnu. Enjoy a short tour of the resort before you continue through the North Estonian land of forests and arrive in Tallinn early afternoon, Overnight at the Hotel L’Ermitage or similar.

Day 7 Tallinn
Tallinn is a charming blend of medieval tranquillity and modern urban life. The medieval Old Town is a busy place with its many shops, galleries, souvenir markets, outdoor cafes and restaurants. The walking tour takes you around the old medieval city walls and into the Old Town where you see the Toompea Castle, Dome Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, medieval Old Town Hall and Great Guild Hall. In the afternoon take an excursion to the Kadriorg Park and visit to KUMU, the award-winning new Estonian art museum, with its collections of classic and contemporary fine art. This evening enjoy dinner at the Restaurant Maikrahv. Overnight at the Hotel L’Ermitage or similar.

Day 8 Tallinn-End of Tour
After breakfast you will be taken to the airport. You can extend your stay in lovely Tallinn or continue to Helsinki or St. Petersburg.
