Itinerary
Day 1 Interlaken or Grindelwald
Arrival in either Interlaken or Grindelwald by 2nd class train from the Swiss border or the airport. Overnight in your choice of Interlaken or Grindelwald.
Day 2 Interlaken or Grindelwald-Jungfrau Excursion
Today you will enjoy an excursion from Interlaken up to the Jungfraujoch known as the Top of Europe. The Jungfrau Railway takes you to the Jungfraujoch at 11,333 ft. the highest railway station in Europe. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Aletsch Glacier, the longest glacier in the Alps. Overnight in either Interlaken or Grindelwald.
Day 3 Interlaken/Grindelwald-Zermatt
Travel through the wonderful Bernese Oberland and the Lotschberg to Brig by BLS trains and further to Zermatt. Zermatt, at the foot of the majestic Matterhorn, is a world without cars. Electric cars and horse-drawn sleighs and carriages are the only transport allowed. It is the perfect Alpine resort for rest and relaxation. Overnight in Zermatt.
Day 4 Zermatt
Today you will go on an excursion by cogwheel-railway up to the Gornergrat where you will have a superb panoramic view of the Matterhorn, Mont Blanc and other snow-capped peaks rising above 13,000ft. Overnight in Zermatt.
Day 5 Zermatt-End of Tour
After breakfast return to the Swiss border or airport or you may extend your tour.
