Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Stockholm
Upon arrival in Stockholm you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure to relax or begin your exploration of the Swedish Capital. Dinner and overnight Clarion Sign Hotel.

Day 2 Stockholm
Morning city tour to include the Royal Palace, Parliament buildings, Cathedral, Royal Theater and the Gamla Stan (Old Town) with its cobblestone streets and quaint shops. Inside visit to the City Hall with its Blue and Gold Halls, where the Nobel Prize banquet is held each year. Afternoon at leisure to shop or visit one of the city’s many museums. We recommend a visit to the Wasa Ship Museum. Overnight Clarion Sign Hotel.

Day 3 Stockholm-Overnight Cruise to Helsinki
Morning and early afternoon at leisure to continue your visit of Stockholm. Coach transfer to the Silja Line pier where you board the boat for your overnight cruise to Helsinki. Sail slowly down the picturesque archipelago and past numerous small islands. Dinner on board. Overnight 2 berth outside cabin with private facilities. We recommend that you bring carry on bag only on cruise to avoid carrying suitcases to and from your cabin as luggage assistance is not available on ship. Larger cases will be stored on ship.

Day 4 Helsinki
Breakfast on board. Upon arrival in Helsinki enjoy a city tour to include, the Senate Square, Uspenski Cathedral, Parliament House, Finlandia Hall, Sibelius Park and Monument and the Underground Temple. Afternoon at leisure to shop for famous Finnish design products or visit the charming market place by the harbor. Dinner and overnight Haven Hotel.

Day 5 Helsinki-St. Petersburg
After breakfast transfer by coach from hotel to the railway station. 10am departure from Helsinki on the Allegro train. Lunch box on train. 2.36pm arrival to St. Petersburg. Coach transfer from railway station to hotel combined with a 1 hour’s guided boat cruise along the Neva River and visit at St. Isaac’s Cathedral. Dinner and overnight Hotel Ambassador.

Day 6 St. Petersburg
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. The day begins with a transfer to the Neva River harbor for a cruise by hydrofoil to Peterhof, including visits of the Grand Palace, lower parks with fountains. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, tour the world-famous Hermitage Art Museum and the State Rooms of the Winter Palace. Return to hotel. Dinner and overnight Ambassador Hotel. .

Day 7 St. Petersburg
Buffet breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the town of Pushkin followed by a visit to Catherine’s Palace including the famous Amber room. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch 3 hours tour of the city. St. Petersburg is a city of outstanding architectural beauty, famous for its magnificent palaces, cathedrals, fountains and bridges and the tour includes sights such as the Square of Arts, the Russian Museum, the Cathedral of Our Savior on the Spilt Blood, Griboedov canal, Nevsky prospect, the Palace Square with the Winter Palace, the spit of the Basil’s Island, the Menshikov Palace, the Senate Square, and the Bronze Horseman. A visit will be made to the Peter & Paul Fortress. This evening you will be taken to see a colorful Russian folklore show at the Nikolaevsky Palace, with snacks during the intermission. Dinner will be served at the Dostoevsky Restaurant or similar. Overnight at the Ambassador Hotel. .

Day 8 St. Petersburg-End of tour
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport or you may extend your stay in St. Petersburg or continue to Moscow.
