11 day car rental-VW Golf VI or similar-manual transmission with air conditioning or private car and driver. Please note for private car and driver petrol is not included and is to be paid on the spot according to consumption.Please note for rental car-pick up and return during normal working hours. Included:unlimited kilometers, CDW (limitation of liability), TP (theft insurance), Airport tax, traffic tax, 20% VAT and 1% contract fee. Not included: insurance for transporting people (passenger insurance) (Depending on the rental car type remains a deductible per occurrence. This deductible can be included through Super Cover and must be completed on the spot). Austria requires all vehicles using the autobahn to display a highway toll sticker. Rental companies in Austria charge approx US$0.65 per day for a toll sticker. Stickers are available at the border or gas stations when entering from another country. Includes 1 driver. Additional fee for more than 1 driver.

Itinerary

Day 1 Innsbruck
Upon arrival pick up rental car or meet driver and continue to your centrally located hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure in this lovely city of the Alps. Overnight in Innsbruck.

Day 2 Innsbruck
Use your city card which giver you free entrance to most of the city’s museums and sightseer hop on hop off bus to visit the city. Your card also lets you visit the the Swarovski Crystal Worlds in nearby Wattens including shuttle bus.This evening you will enjoy a special Tyrolean folklore evening with dinner. Overnight in Innsbruck

Day 3 Innsbruck-Imst-Hall in Tyrol-Innsbruck
Today we suggest a visit to Imst to see the The Rosengartenschlucht (Gorge/ Blue Grotto, a wildly romantic gorge in the center of the town in Imst). Continue to the town of Hall to visit the Hall Mint & Mint Tower, the moated castle which was built to protect the area. Overnight in Innsbruck.

Day 4 Innsburck-Zell am See
After breakfast drive to the charming lakeside resort of Zell am See. Located among snow-covered mountains and the crystal-clear Zell Lake, this medieval town nestles against the rising slopes of the Schmittenhohe. Overnight in Zell am See

Day 5 Zell am See
Today we suggest visits to the old town center and the the Vogtturm with its museum. Overnight Zell am See

Day 6 Zell am See-Kufstein-Lienz-Zell am See
Today you will visit the villages of Kufstein and Lienz which are not far away. In Kufstein ascent the Kaiser Maximilian panoramic incline lift to the Kufstein fortress. A visit to the museum of local history and the heroes organ is included. Overnight in Zell am See.

Day 7 Zell am See-Bad Ischl
Today you will travel to the heart of the Salzkammergut are and its capital Bad Ischl. Stroll through Bad Ischl and experience the old traditions just as they formerly were, but now carefully renovated and modernized. Overnight in Bad Ischl.

Day 8 Bad Ischl-Hallstatt-Gumunden-Bad Ischl
After breakfast visit the famous emperors castle, a Habsburg summer residence the Kaiservilla. In the afternoon visit the Hallstatt voted Austria’s most beautiful village and the ceramic town of Gmunden. Overnight in Bad Ischl.

Day 9 Bad Ischl-Steyr-Vienna
Continue to Vienna with a stop and tour of the romantic town of Steyr on the way. Overnight in Vienna.

Day 10 Vienna
Today you will enjoy a tour of Vienna including entrance to the lovely am imposing Schonbrunn Palace. Afternoon at leisure. to visit one of the city’s many interesting museums. Overnight in Vienna.

Day 11 Vienna-End of Tour
Tour ends after breakfast. Return rental car or for private tour clients you will be transferred to the airport. You can extend your stay in lovely Vienna or continue to Budapest, Bratislava or Prague.
