Day 1 Arrive Torshavn
Depart from either Reykjavik or Copenhagen. Upon arrival self transfer by scheduled hotel bus from Vagar Airport to your centrally located hotel. Overnight In Torshavn.

Day 2 Torshavn
After breakfast at leisure or you may take one of our optional tours. Overnight in Torshavn.

Day 3 Torshavn
After breakfast you at leisure or you may take one of our optional tours. Overnight in Torshavn

Day 4 Torshavn
After breakfast you at leisure or you may take one or our optional tours. Overnight in Torshavn. .

Day 5 End of Tour
After breakfast self transfer by scheduled airport bus to the airport for your return flight to Reykjavik or Copenhagen. You may extend you nights in the Faroe Islands.

City Tour of Torshavn-Daily-DKK 495 per person-3 hour tour- Drive through the newer parts of the Faroese capital where you pass the Nordic house and the old fortification Skansin. After the drive walk through the old center of Torshavn called Tinganes; today the center of administration. Departures every Monday at 10am from 29 May to 28 August

Fishing Village of Vestmanna-DKK 795 per person-5 hour tour-By coach via the mountain road to Vestmanna where your excursion boat awaits. The boat sails along the dramatic cliff wall into a narrow strait and into some of the many grottoes. En route back to Torshavn you will make a stop at an old Viking farmstead in the quaint village of Kvivik. Available Thursdays and Saturdays from 01JUN-31AUG.

Visit Vagar Island-4 hours-DKK 595 per person-Via the mountain road to Norda dalsskard where the view over the island of Koltur is extraordinary. Further on to Leynar via the Kollafjardadal to the new tunnel under the Vestmanna strait. The 4.9 km long tunnel leads to the island of Vagoy where you visit the villages of Sandavag, Midvag and Sorvag, as well as the village of Bo and towards Gasadal. This tour is available Wednesdays 01JUN-31AUG.

Visit Sandoy and Kirkjubour-9.5 hours-DKK 995 per person-Travel by coach and ferry to the beautiful island of Sandoy, where traditional Faroese lifestyle can still be experienced. Then continue to the old cultural center of Kirkjubour where you see the 900-year-old turf-roofed farmhouse Roykstoven and the oldest Faroese church, St Olav’s Church from AD 1111. Visit the Northern part of Eysturoy-7 hours-DKK 895 per person-Driving past the old whaling station Air to the villages of Gjogv and Funning. The stone formations ‘The Giant and the Hag (Risin & Kellingin) are a spectacular viewpoint from Eidi. Visit to Saksun, a small village surrounded by high mountains in a beautiful setting. Mykines Bird Paradise-10 hours-DKK 1495 per person-Day trip to the westernmost island of Mykines, which is blessed with a rich bird life. See puffins and gannets among many other species. The tour is guided on the bus until you reach the ferry at Sorvagur. Explore Mykines individually. Available Wednesdays 01JUN-31AUG.

Cruise with Nordlysid including light lunch-3-4 hours-DKK 425 per person-Enjoy Torshavn from the seaside on the old schooner ‘Nordlysid and see a multitude of seabirds on a 3-hour cruise, sailing close to the coastline to watch the cliffs rising from the sea. A light lunch of fish soup is served during the cruise. Transfer to/from Torshavn Harbor NOT included. Available Tuesdays and Thursday 01JUN-31AUG.

Cave concert with Nordlysid including light lunch-5 hours-DKK 575 per person-This trip will take you to the island Hestur where you find the magic Klaemints-Gjogv that sets the scene for world famous Cave Concerts. No concert will be the same because of nature’s participation. Note: The trip requires a certain degree of mobility as you shall enter, from Nordlysid, into small boats to sail into the cave. Hike from Tjornuvik to Saksun-6 hour tour-DKK 598 per person-This tour includes a 4 hour hike between the two idyllic villages of Tjonuvik and Saksun. The guide will tell you plenty of stories and there will be magnificent views to admire on the way. Available on Saturdays from 2 June to 25 August.

Hike to Slaettaratind-5 hours-DKK 598 per person-This tour includes a 3-hr hike to Slaettaratind, the highest mountain in the Faroes.This hike is suitable for people with basic hiking knowledge and some experience. The slopes are gentle, yet a few are steep. Available Sundays from 3 June-26 August.

Hike Bour (View over Gasadalur)-6 hours-DKK 598 per person-This tour includes a 4-hour hike from the outskirts of Bour up a mountain side to get a view of the once-isolated village of Gasadalur. The guide will have many stories to tell and the photo opportunities are many! Available Tuesdays from 5 June to 28 August.

Old Legends at Suduroy-7 hours-DKK 2500 per person-This tour takes you by ferry to the island of Suduroy where you explore seldom-visited areas. The guide will tell you many tales about the Vikings and other legends from the Faroese past. Lunch included. Minimum 3 passengers.. Available daily from 1 June to 31 August.

In the Footsteps of the Vikings-4 hours-DKK 1200 per person-This gentle walking tour will take you through the era of the Vikings. Hear about bloody battles, enjoy panoramic views and light refreshments (included) before driving back to the old part of Torshavn for a walk among the charming old houses. Available Mon, Wed and Friday.

Mykines Retreat Day Tour-6-7 hours-DKK 1600 per person-Ferry from Sorvagur at 10.20am; On the ferry you will see places of interest on the journey to Mykines. On arrival, you will enjoy a guided tour of the village and take some refreshments before you go on a guided walk to Mykinesholmur, directly through the puffin colony. Tour includes lunch and transfer to/from Torshavn. Minimum 2 passengers. Available daily between June and August.

Mulafossur Photo Tour & Farm Visit- 5 hours-DKK 598 per person-Guided coach trip to the tiny settlement of Gasadalur. Make the easy hike to the edge of the island where the Mulafossur waterfall thunders into the Atlantic below. Also included is a visit a local farm, where you can learn more about living at “the edge of the world”. Departure from the Torshavn Bus Terminal. Vestmanna, Viking ruins & Saga Museum-4 hours-DKK 498 per person-This guide tour will visit some of the many Viking ruins found in the Faroe Islands, as well as the small harbour settlement of Vestmanna where we will visit the Saga Museum! Departure from Torshavn Bus Terminal. Available Tuesdays 9am-1pm from 3 April to 23 October.

Northern Isles Day Trip-7 hours-DKK 1050 per person-Guided tour to the northernmost settlement in the Faroes; Vidareidi, Klaksvik the fishing capital of the Faroe Islands and then Gjogv with the amazing gorge.
