Full day city and handicraft tour-Full day tour to discover the diverse faces of Asuncion. Lunch at the town of San Bernardino, a traditional summer village. Visit to the artisan towns of 1) Itaugua, where the famous fabric of Nanduti is manufactured (the word Nanduti means spider web in Guarani); 2) Aregua: colonial town characterized by its artisans and ceramic makers; 3) Luque: urban center specialized in gold and silver crafts, specially the works in filigree. At the end of the journey, return to the hotel.

City tour-3 hours-Discover Asuncion, the “Mother of Cities”, visiting the National Heroes Pantheon, the Independence House and its museum, the Central Post Office, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the old Parliament, the Government Palace, the new building of the Congress, the old Train Station with one of the first Steam Trains of South America, the Port, the Recova (typical market place of craftsmanship), the Lambar Hill, the main residential neighborhoods, and Mburuvicha Roga (The Chief’s House), the official residence of the Nation’s President.
