It unites the driest desert of the world, abundant forests as well as fantastic glaciers and fjords. The European influence can be noticed in the towns by the people with their culture and their ancestors history. That is why Chile nowadays is one of the highest developed countries of South America.

Itinerary

Day 1 Santiago
Upon arrival you will be met and taken to your centrally located hotel. In the afternoon you will enjoy a half day city tour of the capital. Santiago de Chile is a city of contrasts with remains of its Colonial past to the ultramodern, high-rise buildings of the financial center, Chile’s capital city will surprise you. This tour offers you the possibility to see this eclectic mix for yourself. The tour begins by heading south through the downtown area, passing the Club Hipico, a beautiful horse racing track in the older residential area of the city. You then proceed alongside the Parque O’Higgins and the Cousino Palace, built between 1870 and 1878 for the wealthy Cousino family. From here you head along the famous Alameda, Santiago’s colorful main avenue, to the heart of the city, seeing the Chilean University, San Francisco Church and the Santa Lucia Hill, site of Santiago’s foundation in 1541. Then you will visit the Plaza de Armas and the cathedral. Just around the corner, there is the Pre-Colombian Art Museum, one of the most complete collections of ceramics, ancient textiles and relics of American culture (Monday and Sunday afternoon closed). Afterwords, you continue the tour by crossing the Mapocho River to reach the bohemian Bellavista district on the way to the San Cristobal Hill. Reaching the summit, you will have the finest views of Santiago and the Andes Mountains. To round off the tour, you will pass through the modern residential areas of the city with their daring architecture and, finally, the bustling Providencia shopping zone. Day 2 Santiago-Calama-San Pedro de Atacama – Valle de la Luna
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport to take flight to Calama (not included). Upon arrival transfer to San Pedro de Atacama, oasis located in the middle of the most arid desert in the world the Atacama Desert. Visit Moon Valley to admire the spectacular sunset reflected on this wonderful landscape visiting Mars Valley. Overnight. San Pedro de Atacama a the Hotel Casa Don Tomas tourist class-Hotel Altiplanico first class or similar.

Day 3 San Pedro de Atacama-Salar de Atacama-Altiplanic Lagoons-sand Pedro de Atacama
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day visit to Atacama Desert highlights such as, the Salar de Atacama, Lagunas Altiplanicas Miscanti, Meniques: site of interest with a varied fauna of native pink flamingos. Also visiting the towns of Socaire and Toconao. Lunch is included at a local restaurant. Overnight San Pedro de Atacama.

Day 4 San Pedro de Atacama-Tatio Geysers-San Pedro de Atacama
Early morning visit to the Geysers del Tatio to see the landscape at its best at sun rise. Spectacular views of the Torcopuri y Sairecabur volcanoes located at 4.300 meters above sea level, in the highland of the Andes Mountain Range Breakfast will be served at the Tatio Geysers. Around midday return to San Pedro de Atacama. Overnight San Pedro de Atacama.

Day 5 San Pedro de Atacama-Calama -Santiago-Puerto Mont-Puerto Varas
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport in Calama. In Santiago assistance for connection flight at the airport to board next flight to Puerto Montt (domestic flights not included) Upon arrival in Puerto Montt transfer to the hotel located in the city of Puerto Varas. Overnight at the Hotel Casa Kalfu-tourist class, Hotel Cabana del Lago first class or similar.

Day 6 Puerto Varas-Puerto Montt- Fruitllar-Puerto Varas
Breakfast at the hotel. City tour of Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas. Continue on to visit the town of Frutillar, located at the shores of the Llanquihue Lake. Lunch included. Return to Puerto Varas for overnight.

Day 7 Puerto Varas-Petrohue-Osorno Volcano Ski and Mountain Center-Puerto Varas
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from your hotel for a full day excursion to the Ski and Mountain Center at Osorno Volcano, in the National Park Vicente Perez Rosales, on to Petrohue, and the “Emerald Lake” Lunch included at a local restaurant. Return to the hotel in the afternoon. Overnight in Puerto Varas.

Day 8 Puerto Varas-Puerto Montt- Punta Arenas-Puerto Natales.
Breakfast at the hotel. At time to be advised transfer to the airport to take flight to Punta Arenas (not included). Upon arrival transfer to the bus terminal to take regular bus (public bus) to Puerto Natales (3 hour ride). Transfer from bus terminal to your hotel. Overnight Puerto Natales at the Hotel Lodge Weskar tourist class, Hotel Alitiplanico Sur first class or similar.

Day 9 Puerto Natales
Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight Puerto Natales.

Day 10 Puerto Natales-Torres del Paine National Park-Puerto Natales.
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day excursion to Torres del Paine National park. Lunch included. Return to the hotel in the afternoon. Overnight Puerto Natales

Day 11 Puerto Natales-Punta Arenas- Santiago
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the bus terminal to take regular bus (public bus) to the airport in Punta Arenas. Upon arrival in Santiago, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Santiago at the Hotel Panamericano tourist class, Hotel Fundador first class or similar.

Day 12 Santiago-End of Tour
After breakfast you will be taken to the airport. You can extend your stay in Santiago or continue with one of our other tours.
