We invite you to discover three interesting destinations in Costa Rica, that combined together will offer you a wonderful experience of this beautiful country. After staying the first night in San Jose, you will visit the Arenal Volcano, a fascinating area indeed in which you will stay the following three nights. Afterwards you will travel to the Pacific coast and relax for four nights in one of the selected hotels, where the surroundings and beach will provide you with an unforgettable experience.

Itinerary
Day 1 San Jose
Upon arrival at the Juan Santamaria International Airport you will be transferred to San Jose approximately 30 minutes away from the Airport. Overnight at the Hotel Holiday Inn or similar.
Day 2 San Jose-Arenal Volcano Area
In the morning,the journey starts to the northern lowlands of Costa Rica, where the major attraction is the Arenal Volcano. This trip begins with a climb up to central volcanic mountain range, that is a wall to the humid winds coming from the Caribbean and Northern plains and along the road, it is possible to admire diverse agricultural plantations, ornamental plants and cattle ranches until you arrive to La Fortuna Village where the mighty Arenal Volcano will welcome you with its impressive perfect conic shape. This area has become a major attraction due to the diversity of activities and natural wonders to visit. You will be staying the following three nights in the area. Overnight at the Hotel Mountain Paradise or similar.
Day 3 Arenal Volcano Area
These days are on your own, to enjoy the different tourist attractions (at extra cost) which can be found nearby Arenal Volcano. If you wish to explore the area in an exciting way, we recommend a visit to the Arenal Reserve, where you will find the Sky Tram & Sky Trek. This tour combines the ascent to the top of the mountain by an aerial tram, enjoying the beautiful landscapes of the Arenal Lake, while the descent is through the famous canopy tour, which goes from one mountain to another, that makes you feel the adventure and fun. If you prefer a more relaxed tour and admire the natural beauties of the northern plains, we recommend a visit to the Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge, where are offered boat tours on the banks of the Rio Frio in search of different species of birds, mammals and reptiles. Overnight at the Hotel Mountain Paradise or similar.
Day 4 Arenal Volcano Area
After breakfast another free day to explore this inspiring nature area. Optional excursions available. Overnight at the Hotel Mountain Paradise or similar.
Day 5 Arenla Volcano Area-Pacific Coast
Breakfast at the Hotel. Today, you will continue your journey to one of Costa Rica’s pacific side beaches. On your way from Arenal you will observe how the weather conditions start to change while you get closer to coastal area. This transfer depending on your selected destination takes you approximately 4-5 hours. You will be staying the following next four nights at a selected beach property. In order to provide you with flexibility we are providing you with two alternatives beach area hotels, in which you must select only one from the following beach destinations: Guanacaste Region, Hermosa Beach staying at the Bosque del Mar Playa Hermosa Hotel or similar OR The Nicoya Peninsula area, Quitzales beach/Tambor staying at the Tango Mar Hotel or similar.
Day 6 Pacific Coast
Breakfast at the hotel. Days at leisure for you to take advantage of the beach and the sun, relax and even consider taking an optional(extra cost) activity in the area, for your own adventure.
Day 7 Pacific Coast
Breakfast at the hotel. Days at leisure for you to take advantage of the beach and the sun, relax and even consider taking an optional(extra cost) activity in the area, for your own adventure.
Day 8 Pacific Coast
Breakfast at the hotel. Days at leisure for you to take advantage of the beach and the sun, relax and even consider taking an optional(extra cost) activity in the area, for your own adventure.
Day 9 Pacific Coast-San Jose
Today you will return back to San Jose on an unescorted shuttle transfer service, depending on your hotel of origin you will be arriving to San Jose area, late afternoon or evening. You will be staying the last night of the tour in San Jose at the Hotel Holiday Inn or similar.
Day 10 San Jose-End of Tour
Breakfast at the hotel.Today, you will be transported from your hotel in San Jose to the Juan Santamaria International Airport for your departure flight. You can extend your stay in Costa Rica or continue to Panama or Nicaragua.
