Itinerary

Day 1 Zagreb
You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The day is at leisure in cosmopolitan Zagreb until your welcome dinner. Overnight in Zagreb at the Hotel Westin or Hotel Sheraton.

Day 2 Zagreb
A morning sightseeing tour will take you along the historic Upper Town. See St. Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, the Parliament and the Government Palace. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the winding streets of the old town or take an optional excursion to the countryside. Overnight in Zagreb at the Hotel Westin or Hotel Sheraton.

Day 3 Zagreb-Plitvice Lakes-Split
After breakfast journey south, and visit the Plitvice Lakes National Park, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Have your camera ready and take a walking tour around several of the lower lakes. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder with 16 terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. After your visit, drive southbound to Split for Overnight at the Hotel President or Hotel Atrium.

Day 4 Split-Hvar
Today begins with a walking tour of the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. See the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle and the Cathedral. Time on your own, until embarkation. In the afternoon board the ferry and sail to Hvar Island. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel Amfora.

Day 5 Hvar
The town of Hvar has a unique cultural and historical heritage and an important tourist destination with a centuries-old tradition in tourism. Enjoy a morning orientation walking tour of Hvar, featuring views of the Fortress and Franciscan Monastery. Conde Nast Travel Magazine included Hvar Island among the 10 most beautiful Islands in the world. During the afternoon, kick back, relax and enjoy this beautiful Island on your own. Overnight at the Hotel Amfora.

Day 6 Hvar-Dubrovnik
Morning departure from Hvar Island to the mainland and continue to the pearl of the Adriatic Dubrovnik. Drive along the picturesque Croatian Coast line and admire the natural beauty everyone is talking about. Overnight at the Hotel Lacroma or Hotel Lapad or Hotel Argosy.

Day 7 Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik is a famous city and is on UNESCO’s World Heritage list. In the morning there will be a walking tour of Old Dubrovnik; the Rector’s Palace, Bell Tower Clock, Orlando’s Column and the Sponza Palace. You will also see the Dominican Monastery and the Franciscan Monastery with its Pharmacy, one of the oldest in the world. Overnight in Dubrovnik at the Hotel Lacroma or Hotel Lapad or Hotel Argosy.

Day 8 Dubrovnik-Montenegro-Dubrovnik
Travel to the Republic of Montenegro. Head towards the mouth of the beautiful Bay of Kotor, the longest and deepest fjord in Southern Europe. See the little towns of Risan and Kotor. Then proceed to Cetinje, once the seat of Montenegrin rulers. Visit the city museum. After the sightseeing in Cetinje, travel to the coast for a short stop in the villages of Sveti Stefan and Budva before returning to Dubrovnik for overnight at the Hotel Lacroma or Hotel Lapad or Hotel Argosy.

Day 9 Dubrovnik-End of Tour
After breakfast you will be taken to the airport. You can extend your stay in Dubrovnik. or continue to Albania,Bosnia or Slovenia.
