Itinerary

Day 1 Bogota
Upon arrival you will be met and taken to your centrally located hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure to begin your exploration of the Colombian capital. Overnight in Bogota.

Day 2 Bogota
During the morning you will enjoy a view of the city, visiting Bolivar’s Square where the most important building of the city are located, such as: the Cathedral, the Palace of Justice, the President’s house and the National Capitol. Continue your journey through the Colonial District of La Candelaria and visit the Gold Museum with it’s collection of 30.000 pre-Colombian ornaments, after this visit you will continue to Bolivar’s Country House where the Liberator Simon Bolivar lived. Finally you will take a cable car to the top of Monserrate that lords over Bogota where you will admire a wonderful view of the city. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Bogota.

Day 3 Bogota
During the morning you will leave the city thorough the residential district, taking the Panamericana highway, passing by some typical villages to reach to Zipaquira where the Salt Cathedral is located, visit and return to Bogota. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Bogota.

Day 4 Bogota-Medellin
After breakfast you will be taken to the airport for your flight to Medellin (not included.) Upon arrival you will be met and taken to your centrally located hotel. Remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Medellin.

Day 5 Medellin
In the morning you will visit the main touristic spots of the city like the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Berrio Park, and Botero’s Square. You will also visit the Antioquia’s Museum where the biggest Botero Collection is found. Free afternoon. Overnight in Medellin.

Day 6 Medellin
In the morning you will take the road to visit the Eastern side of the region passing through beautiful towns and admiring the beautiful landscapes until you reach the Tutucan park where you will find a small imitation of a traditional town containing all the traditional stores such as a barber shop, the photographer’s house and of course the church (in Colombian culture the church was the foundation of civilization). Visit a traditional milling farm. Here you will be able to taste products made from the sugar cane. Overnight in Medellin.

Day 7 Medellin-Cali
After breakfast you will be taken to the airport for your flight to Cali (not included.) Upon arrival you will be met and taken to your centrally located hotel. Remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Cali.

Day 8 Cali
In the morning you will visit the main touristic spots of the city, Caycedo’s Square where some of the most important buildings in Cali are found. Continue through some magnificent churches and admire a spectacular view from Sebastian de Belalcazars viewpoint, the highest spot in the city. Free Afternoon. Optional salsa lessons will be offered. Overnight in Cali.

Day 9 Cali
In the morning you will visit “Colombia’s White City” Popayan. Where you will enter the Religious Art Museum, the Valencia’s Family and the historic center. You will also enjoy an exquisite typical lunch. Overnight in Cali.

Day 10 Cali-End of Tour
After breakfast you will be taken to the airport. You can extend your stay in Cali or visit the coffee region or Cartagena.
