Itinerary

Day 1 Prague
Upon arrival in Prague you will be taken to your centrally located hotel. Remainder of the day is at leisure to begin your exploration of the charming capital of the Czech Republic.

Day 2 Prague
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, tour the old part of the city to view the Old Town Square, the famous Astronomical Clock, the Jewish Quarter, St. Nicholas Church and the Charles Bridge The rest of the day is at leisure. This evening you will enjoy a performance at the famous Black Light Theater. Overnight in Prague.

Day 3 Prague
After Breakfast you will enjoy a tour of the Prague Castle and lesser town visiting the Royal Castle of Hradcany with Cathedral of St. Vitus, Old Royal Palace, St. George’s Basilica and the Golden Lane with the Daliborka Tower. Afterwards descend to the Lesser Town Quarter to see the exterior of St. Nicholas Church and many other palaces. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Prague.

Day 4 Prague-Vienna
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the railway station for your rail journey to the Austrian capital. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Vienna.

Day 5 Vienna
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a hop on hop off bus sightseeing tour of Vienna. You will get a first impression of the most important sights of Vienna. The famous Ringstrasse, Vienna’s main boulevard, MAK: The Austrian Museum of Applied Arts, State Opera House, Museum of Fine Arts and Natural History, the Parliament, National Theater, City Hall, University, Votive Church and the Belvedere Palace. The tour ends at the Opera House. Remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Vienna.

Day 6 Vienna-Vienna Woods-Vienna
After breakfast you will be taken on a tour of the famous Vienna Woods. Visit Mayerling, the Grotto and Helligenkreuz You will be taken to the southern Vienna woods and, passing by the roman city of Baden reach Mayerling, visit the convent, and the former hunting lodge of crown prince Rudolph. Afterwards proceed to Heiligenkreutz (Interior visit of the medieval abbey and tomb of the Babenberg Dynasty ) and finally visit the Seegrotte (entrance included, boat, ride on Europe’s largest subterranean lake). The tour ends at the Opera House. Afternoon is at leisure. Overnight in Vienna.

Day 7 Vienna-Budapest
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the rail station. Transfer by train to the Hungarian capital, Budapest. Upon arrival. transfer to the hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Budapest.

Day 8 Budapest
After breakfast you will enjoy a tour of this historic city. Passing by the Parliament cross the Danube on the Margaret-Bridge (Margaret-Island) and drive to the Royal Castle area on the Buda side, where you visit the Fishermen’s Bastion (Promenade) and the Matthias Church after, go up to the Gellert Hill (Photostop), cross the Elisabeth-Bridge and drive towards Heroes Square (Promenade). Passing by the Opera House and St. Stephen’s Basilica. Tour ends in the city center. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Budapest.

Day 9 Budapest
After breakfast you will be taken on a tour to Szentendre, the famous artists village. Enjoy the picturesque village of Szentendre where you visit the magnificent Caprice Hungarian Jewellery Museum, with a multimedia presentation and the Marzipan Museum. Later, after a walk through the baroque center of the town, return by boat to Budapest on the Danube. The tour ends at the Pier/City-Center. Afternoon is at leisure. Overnight in Budapest.

Day 10 Budapest-End of Tour
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport. You can extend your stay in Budapest or continue to the lovely Lake Balaton area or Bratislava.
