Itinerary

Day 1 Puno-Lake Titicaca
Pick you up at your hotel in Puno and start the tour with an overland trip to Copacabana on Lake Titicaca. Walking tour around Copacabana, the gate to Bolivia and board a hydrofoil to Moon Island for an archaeological trekking. Continue to Sun Island and walk to the Pilcocaina Sun Temple and start a fantastic llama trek to Posada del Inca Eco-Lodge, in the most bucolic scenery of the Andes. After lunch, explore this mythical Island, with surprising cultural and natural treasures Dinner and overnight at the Posada del Inca lodge.

Day 2 Lake Titicaca-La Paz
After your Andean breakfast, visit the Grand Inca Staircase and the Sacred Fountain. Lunch at the Uma Kollu panoramic restaurant. After lunch hydrofoil or speed motor boat to Copacabana, to start an overland trip to La Paz. On route, stop at Huatajata to experience a cross cultural experience at the “Andean Roots – Eco-Village”: Arrival to La Paz and drop off at the Hotel Presidente where you will spend the night.

Day 3 La Paz-Uyuni Salt Flats
Pick up at your hotel and leave by 4X4 jeep to Oruro and Jirira, 10 hour ride approximately. Lunch on route. Upon arriving to Jirira by the Salt Flats, the Camp Assistant will have all tents ready and set up. Dinner will be ready, whilst enjoying the spectacular sunset.

Day 4 Uyuni Salt Flats-La Paz
A freedom feeling will start invading you, when watching the largest Salt Flats on earth; the noise of silence and the surreal dazzling pentagons of crystalline salt make the heart beat faster, just as jumping out a Salvador Dali’s painting; active volcanoes, hot springs and a palette of color-splashed lakes populated by hardy flamingos punctuate these landscapes of blindingly bright salt plains and stunning deserts. Lunch will be served in the middle of the Salt Flats. Return to La Paz by private 4 X 4. Overnight at the Hotel Presidente in La Paz.

Day 5 La Paz-End of Tour
The city of La Paz and its surroundings can transport you to a mysterious past where any corner, any street, is a hidden treasure where adventure begins; a living history which treasures the pre Hispanic times with all their traditions and magic rites on its streets. The indigenous, colonial and modern areas, Indian Market, Witch Doctor’s Market & breathtaking panoramas are all framed by the majestic “Illimani” mountain. The Moon Valley is a clay formation resembling the face of the Moon. La Paz is also a real shopping paradise. Later, departure transfer to the airport for your continuing flight. You can extend your stay in La Paz or continue with one of out other many tour options.
