Day 1 Oslo-Norway in a Nutshell-Stalheim
The train journey across “Norway`s Roof” the Hardangervidda mountain plateau is both spectacular and varied. The Bergen Railway was recently voted as one of the world`s most beautiful train journeys. The tour goes from Oslo to Myrdal. Change trains in Myrdal and board the Flam Railway. This is one of the highlights of the trip. During the 20 km long train ride, you will see some of the most magnificent scenery Norway has to offer, with a shifting panorama of towering mountains and impressive waterfalls. The trains slows down or stops at the best viewing points. Down in the idyllic village of Flam, there is time for a breather before the journey continues by boat, with a gentle voyage on the Aurlands Fjord. En route you can enjoy views of the beautiful villages of Aurland and Undredal, and the steep mountain farm “Stegen”, before the boat enters the Naeroyfjord. The Naeroyfjord is the narrowest fjord in Europe and at one point only 250 meters with mountain towering 1700 m above its tranquil waters. Often you will see goats grazing along the shore or seals sunbathing on rocks before the boat comes in to dock at Gudvangen. The trip continues with a winding bus ride up through the 13 steep hairpin bends of the Stalheimskleiva road, offering views of the Sivlefossen and Stalheimsfossen Waterfalls. Dinner and overnight Hotel Stalheim.

Day 2 Stalheim-Voss-Bergen
Breakfast at hotel. Continue by bus to Voss. From there continue with train to Bergen where the tour ends. Hotel nights in Bergen can be added.
