Itinerary

Day 1 Vienna
Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your centrally located hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure to begin your exploration of the imperial Austrian capital. This evening you will enjoy a welcome dinner. Overnight Hotel Renaissance.

Day 2 Vienna
Your morning city tour features the Hofburg, once the seat of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the Belvedere Palace, views of the Prater amusement park, UN buildings and St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Rest of the day at leisure to shop or relax in one of the city’s famous cafes. Overnight Hotel Renaissance.

Day 3 Vienna-Budapest
Travel east, and after crossing the Hungarian border you will proceed onward through the region of Transdanubia, reaching Budapest in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight Hotel Radisson Blu Beke.

Day 4 Budapest
Situated on the opposite banks of the Danube River, the former cities of Buda and Pest are linked by a series of graceful bridges. Your morning sightseeing tour includes views of the Parliament, Royal Palace, Castle Hill area, Fisherman’s Bastion, Coronation Church, Hero’s Square and Gellert Hill. The balance of the day is at leisure to explore this exciting city on your own. Overnight Hotel Radisson Blu Beke.

Day 5 Budapest-Krakow
The road to Krakow winds through the lovely hills and countryside of Slovakia, past the Tatras and into the great plains of Poland. Dinner and overnight Hotel Holiday Inn City Center.

Day 6 Krakow
On your city tour you will visit Wawel Castle, St. Mary’s Church, the Renaissance Cloth Hall and the famous Town Hall Square. Afternoon at leisure to stroll along the charming cobblestone lanes of the old town. Overnight Hotel Holiday Inn City Center.

Day 7 Krakow-Czestochowa-Warsaw
During your morning journey to Warsaw there is time for an optional side trip to one of the most somber memorials of the past, Auschwitz. in the afternoon proceed to Czestochowa, known for the blackened picture of St. Mary in the Yasna Gora Monastery, popularly called the “Black Madonna”. Late afternoon arrival to Warsaw. Dinner and overnight Hotel Mercure Grand.

Day 8 Warsaw
Morning city tour includes the Chopin’s Monument, the Warsaw Ghetto and Lazienki Park. Rest of the day for shopping, or just stroll through the city that was almost destroyed during the Second World War. Also available is an optional afternoon Chopin concert. Overnight Hotel Mercure Grand.

Day 9 Warsaw-End of Tour
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport or you may extend your stay in Warsaw or continue to Berlin or Vilnius.
