Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive Krems
You will be taken from Vienna with private car to Krems. 1 hour trip. Upon arrival in the charming village of Krems we suggest a walk in the lovely old town. Dinner (drinks not included) and overnight Steigenberger Hotel Krems
Day 2 Krems-Wachau-Krems
After breakfast meet your guide for your cruise on the Danube from Krems to Melk. Upon arrival you will be taken on a guided tour of the famous Melk Abbey. This evening you will enjoy a “At the table appetizer buffet and wine tasting dinner” at the oldest winery in Austria the Nikolaihof in the village of Mautern. Overnight Steigenberger Hotel Krems.
Day 3 Krems-Loisium-Krems
Today you will visit the new Wine Experience Center, Loisium in nearby Langenlois. Overnight Steigenberger Hotel Krems.
Day 4 Krems
After breakfast enjoy a tour on the hop on hop off Wachau Express. The Krems Wachau Express is convenient and drives only through the most interesting parts of this amazing area and makes sure to inform you during your trip about this historical and cultural area In the afternoon you will enjoy a wine tasting at the Sandgruber 13. This evening you will enjoy a 7 course dinner including wine pairings at one of Austria’s best restaurants Kloster Und. Overnight Steigenberger.
Day 5 Krems-End of Tour
After breakfast you will be taken by private car to Vienna. You may extend your stay in the Wachau or spend some time in Vienna.
