Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive Zagreb
Upon arrival in Zagreb you will be met and taken to your hotel. Dinner and overnight Hotel Panorama or similar.
Day 2 Zagreb-Plitvice
This morning you will be taken on a tour of the Croatian capital including the fortified Upper Town, the city’s historical center, St. Mark’s Church with its multicolored roof, the Cathedral, the Croatian National Theater and the University. In the afternoon depart to Plitvice. Dinner and overnight Hotel Park or similar.
Day 3 Plitvice
After breakfast you will enjoy a tour of the Plitvice Lakes National Park which is on the UNESCO list of World Natural Heritage sites. Sixteen lakes, each at a different level, connected in a series of cascading waterfalls. The lakes are surrounded by a dense forest. Plitvice Lakes are a natural phenomenon of rate and unique beauty. Dinner and overnight Hotel Park or similar.
Day 4 Plitvice-Dubrovnik
Morning departure for Dubrovnik. Overnight in Dubrovnik at the Hotel Ivka or similar.
Day 5 Dubrovnik
Full day at leisure in this historic and charming city. Visit one of the city’s excellent museums or relax in a cafe by the sea. Overnight Hotel Ivka or similar.
Day 6 Dubrovnik-Split
Morning tour of Dubrovnik which is included on UNESCO’S List of World Cultural Heritage. You will see the Franciscan monastery with Europe’s third oldest pharmacy, the Rector’s Palace and the Cathedral. Afternoon departure for Split driving along the Adriatic Coast and the Neretva River Delta. Dinner and overnight Hotel President or similar.
Day 7 Split-Trogir-Zadar
This morning you will be taken to Split where you will see the Diocletian’s Palace which is on the list of UNESCO World Cultural Heritage with the Peristyle, Jupiter’s Temple and the Cathedral. After the tour depart for Trogir, a picturesque medieval town where you will visit the Cathedral of St. Lawrence. Later depart for the resort town of Zadar. Dinner and overnight Hotel Pinija or similar.
Day 8 Zadar-Zagreb
Morning tour of Zadar including the Roman Forum and St. Donatus Church, a magnificent monument of Romanesque architecture. Afternoon depart for Zagreb. Dinner and overnight Hotel Panorama or similar.
Day 9 Zagreb-End of Tour
After breakfast you will be taken to the airport or you can extend your stay in charming Zagreb or continue to beautiful Slovenia.
